WALKING FRAMES
Our walking frames, zimmer frames, come in a range of widths, heights, and depths and have extra features that will meet the demands of various users. Walking frames are used for reducing the weight carried by the lower limbs and assisting with balance. It is important to select a frame that matches the individual's requirements so that it is comfortable to use.
WALKING STICKS
A walking stick must be the correct length for the user to allow the body weight to be transferred through the stick when walking. Our sticks come in a variety of styles and lengths and with different shaped handles so that the user can find the one most suited to them. Tripods and quadrupeds are used in the same way as walking sticks but they offer more stability due to their wider base. They are recommended for users who require additional assistance with balance.
CRUTCHES
When selecting crutches it is important to select the right type and size as ill-fitting crutches can cause fatigue and frustration. Designed with user comfort in mind, they are adjustable to a comfortable walking height for most users and some have special features to reduce strain on wrists and spread evenly. Our crutches are manufactured from anodised aluminium to be lightweight without compromising strength.
ROLLATORS AND TRI-WHEEL WALKERS
Rollators and Tri-Wheel Walkers are wheeled walking aids are useful for those who find it difficult to use a traditional walking frame. The large wheels encourage a flowing walking pattern and allow the user to maintain correct posture. Available with different features and benefits they are ideal indoors and out, and can be folded away for storage when not in use.

Our range of hoists, transfer boards, slide sheets, turntables will ease many transfers in the home. Equipment often requires correct training but we will help.
WHEELCHAIRS
Our range of self-propelled wheelchairs contain the standard features that a user would demand in a self-propelled wheelchair: large rear wheels that require little effort to propel, swivel front castors for manoeuvrability, easy to reach hand rims and pneumatic tyres for user comfort. There are also options and features that mean that personal preferences can be catered for.
Attendant wheelchairs are for those who cannot propel themselves. They have small rear wheels and can be folded to save space when they need to be stored or transported. There are different types and styles of chair in our range, each with its own features and benefits to suit individual requirements. The chairs have been designed with the user and attendant in mind with easy reach pushing handles and brakes for the attendant and comfortable armrests and footrests for the user.
POWERCHAIRS
Powerchairs offers the facilities of scooters for users who require a wheelchair. Today we can offer speeds up to 4mph, user weight of 20 stone, chairs where the batteries are easily removable enabling the chair to fold for transporting and easy storage. Style, comfort and flexibility are characteristics of the powerchair range.
SCOOTERS
Micro Scooter, a lightweight and compact scooter ideal for manoeuvring in tight confined spaces and is easily dismantled for transporting in the boot of a car. These scooters are perfectly suited for indoor but will face up to the challenges of outdoor travelling. Though some appear to have two front wheels they should always be considered as three wheelers.
Minis are scooters designed to provide the highest level of flexibility. Used both indoors and out, they offer excellent features such as manoeuvrability, compactness, performance and transportability. Available as 3 wheel and 4 wheel models, the 3 wheel offers better turning circle, and 4 wheel better stability. Assessment of not only you but also your environment is important.
